Ingredients:

  • 🐓 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 🍜 2 cups egg noodles
  • 🥕 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • 🌿 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 🧅 1 small onion, diced
  • 🧄 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 🥣 8 cups chicken broth
  • 🌱 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 🌿 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 🧂 Salt and pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Sauté the Vegetables
    In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté for 5 minutes until softened. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add Broth and Seasoning
    Pour in the chicken broth. Stir in thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cook the Noodles
    Add the egg noodles to the pot and cook for 8–10 minutes until tender.
  4. Add the Chicken
    Stir in the shredded chicken and let it heat through for 5 minutes.
