Ingredients for the Perfect Classic Chicken Noodle Soup

🍲 Ingredients:
- 🍗 Chicken Breasts – 2, cooked and shredded
- 🥕 Carrots – 2 medium, sliced
- 🥬 Celery – 2 stalks, chopped
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, finely chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🍜 Egg Noodles – 2 cups
- 🥫 Chicken Broth – 6 cups
- 🌿 Fresh Parsley – for garnish
- 🧂 Salt & Pepper – to taste
- 🫒 Olive Oil – 2 tablespoons
- 🌿 Bay Leaf – 1
Instructions
- Sauté Aromatics
🍳 Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté for 5 minutes until fragrant and softened. - Add Broth and Seasonings
🥫 Pour in the chicken broth, and add the bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. - Cook Noodles
🍜 Add the egg noodles to the pot and cook according to package instructions (usually 8–10 minutes). - Add Chicken
🍗 Stir in the shredded chicken and cook for another 5 minutes, ensuring the soup is heated through. - Garnish and Serve
🌿 Remove the bay leaf, ladle the soup into bowls, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm with crackers or bread.
