Ingredients:

  • 🐟 Fish (such as salmon or perch) – 500g, cut into pieces
  • 🥔 Potatoes – 4 medium, peeled and diced
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
  • 🧑‍🍳 Vegetable broth – 4 cups
  • 🌱 Dill – Fresh, chopped, for garnish
  • 🧴 Heavy cream – 1 cup
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🌶️ Black pepper – to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients:
    • Peel and dice the potatoes. Chop the onion and garlic.
    • Cut the fish into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic:
    • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Add the onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 3 minutes).
  3. Cook the potatoes:
    • Add the diced potatoes to the pot, followed by the vegetable broth.
    • Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender (about 15 minutes).
  4. Add the fish:
    • Once the potatoes are cooked, add the fish pieces to the pot.
    • Simmer gently for 5-7 minutes, until the fish is fully cooked.
  5. Add cream and seasonings:
    • Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently.
    • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish and serve:
    • Serve hot, garnished with fresh dill.
