Ingredients:
- 🐟 Fish (such as salmon or perch) – 500g, cut into pieces
- 🥔 Potatoes – 4 medium, peeled and diced
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
- 🧑🍳 Vegetable broth – 4 cups
- 🌱 Dill – Fresh, chopped, for garnish
- 🧴 Heavy cream – 1 cup
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🌶️ Black pepper – to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients:
- Peel and dice the potatoes. Chop the onion and garlic.
- Cut the fish into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
- Sauté the onion and garlic:
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 3 minutes).
- Cook the potatoes:
- Add the diced potatoes to the pot, followed by the vegetable broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender (about 15 minutes).
- Add the fish:
- Once the potatoes are cooked, add the fish pieces to the pot.
- Simmer gently for 5-7 minutes, until the fish is fully cooked.
- Add cream and seasonings:
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Garnish and serve:
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh dill.
