Ingredients:
- 🌽 Cornmeal – 1 cup
- 🧀 Grated cheese (Parmesan or similar) – 1/2 cup
- 🥩 Chicken (boneless, diced) – 500g
- 🧅 Onion (finely chopped) – 1 medium
- 🥕 Carrot (chopped) – 1 medium
- 🫑 Bell pepper (chopped) – 1 medium
- 🍅 Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
- 🧄 Garlic (minced) – 2 cloves
- 🌿 Parsley (chopped) – 2 tbsp
- 🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
- 💧 Chicken stock – 6 cups
- 🌶️ Optional: Chili powder for spice
Step-by-Step Preparation
- Prepare the Dough Balls:
- In a bowl, mix 🌽 cornmeal and 🧀 grated cheese. Gradually add water to form a soft dough.
- Shape small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and set aside.
- Sauté the Aromatics:
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add 🧅 onion, 🧄 garlic, 🥕 carrot, and 🫑 bell pepper. Sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).
- Add Chicken:
- Add 🥩 chicken pieces to the pot. Cook until lightly browned.
